Status Updates From Water into Wine

This has a quite insistence that borrows and wants to be read... To be witnessed.
It's not the kind of story I normally enjoy but the quite passion is intriguing

Oddly enough the after war part is intense too. I also like the struggle with gender identity paralleling the struggle of surviving war.

I head been craving bittersweet queer romance featuring older folk and I got it! :)

Wow, this is a pretty devastating read, and even as I say that it maintains a solid kind of hope to it. I mean, it's a story about war and the sorrow and damage war does, but the narrator never despairs, for all they border it. Just yeah, wow.

An interesting exploration of war and conflict and hope. Xin is an interesting character, caught between expectation and his own desire to make something beautiful, and it's wrenching to watch that beauty flicker as war comes and goes. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This is pretty good so far.
