Status Updates From Wild

Keegan smiled a little. “It’s good to see you happy.”
“Am I?”
Keegan folded and unfolded the washcloth. “I want you happy.” And Keegan said it with so much hope.

I really love this book, but I’m a little frustrated by how long the chapters are and how unnecessarily descriptive certain scenes are. Cuz the rest of the writing is no frills, but some scenes could have been skipped over entirely, as opposed to several pages long. I’m certainly not the fastest reader, but why is it telling me an hour and 21 minutes left in chapter??? 😳🧐
