I signed up for Kindle Unlimited to churn through sub par romance to keep me relaxed. So it's always a lovely surprise to come across something thats actually good. I like Catherine's writing. It feels mature, funny, yet completely relevant. She seems more in touch with tech and youth than some of the younger writers I've read. I just barely finished a book where the MC paid for an Uber in cash...no...

I wanted to have actually have read some romance from /this year/ before the Goodreads awards came up and this one showed up first my spludge of library requests... intra-office relationships are generally not my cup of tea but I'm giving this one a shot...

Going well, just the common problem with American grammar, opposite of instead of opposite to, and similar. I do wonder if it is an educational thing because some of the American authors rarely trip my grammar radar.
