tae-jun tripping and falling headfirst into potentially genuine character development via his pathetic obsession with yona is GOLD
she knows what she’s doing too, not in a manipulative way but in a deeply empathetic way. she too was a spoiled noble who had no idea how the commoners were struggling, and now she has the perfect opportunity to show tae-jun what she’s learned

hilarious that as soon as tae-jun creates this narrative for himself that yona is being held captive by bandits and that he’s the only one who can swoop in to save her, he finally has a reason to quit moping around. he’s so pathetic i kinda love him

Of course Yoon suggested it! Tae Jun isn't capable enought to think like this on his own.

They're making Yona a combination of a paragon than a raging avenger and I wonder if it'll become too much...

"My human worth is different from these people."

And therein lies the crux of most social issues, doesn't it?

Is Tae Jun about to get one of the best arcs in the series right now?? 😂
