it’s a bit fantastical; main couple are sweet, i can appreciate the conflict but they lack chemistry to me? however they have this ease with which they interact which is sweet. reading this for pride month

It's all very innocent, and I'm not feeling the chemistry between the characters. I got this because it was a recommendation as being very good. It isn't. It's okay. Neither great nor bad.

*throws hands in the air* ugh, Jason is a douche, for one, and for two why would she honestly believe him? Yes, it’s the truth, but you’d think she’d believe Melody and wait to hear it from her. Not to mention she should’ve turned around moment Jason took her outside. Reaching limits with this story. Can’t believe only half done >_<

I feel like I’m mostly reading this just to finish at this point. Some cute elements, but otherwise this is almost bland?

So far I’m not super feeling this book. Something about the writing style feels simplistic, almost, and makes me wanna put it aside. Gunna shoot for at least 10 chapters, maybe 20 before I give up.

Also: I would completely understand why you'd lie about being a princess.

The most annoying thing in the book is how Regina is written.

So Melody was ready to tell her but instead of letting her, Ellie decided to have a guy she doesn't trust or like tell her...

... I don't mind not being able to relate to characters but meh... Also, Jason is suspicious.
