This month's pick for an OCD book club I'm in. Chapter 1 was painful to get through due to the immediate "manic pixie" mindset of our protagonist, though I must commend the author for such an accurately insufferable portrayal of parasocial "love". I don't want to jump ship too hastily in case his motivations would be more fleshed out, and I can better empathize with his journey after starting Chapter 2.
