I'm liking the relationships in each section and enjoying some character growth. Kirsten's vignette made me cry though

I love Steve, he is trying his darned best. Devastated by a particular character death 💔

Finished the first book, I like it but wish there was less sexual violence tbh. It's hard to listen to. The writing itself is excellent and I love the switch between first person in the main story, with Steve, and the third person in the vignettes. I also really like Kevin, he's awkward but a good dude so far. I'm hoping we see character development from Juan and Jade the dog remains safe. Also fuck Mr Abernethy.

I'm 0.05% done and I am already worried about the fate of a character... Pluck the basset hound. I love him and if he dies I'll cry...
