Status Updates From Side Effects

reading this for class and am loving it so far! very interesting to see different perspectives of pediatric cancer, especially after reading books like tfios as a teenager.

Izzy went back to school, and i find it odd how differently even her friends are treating her. She cut her hair, but hasn't got rid of it all yet, and i just stopped at the part where shes going to get more chemo. I still really like the book, its interesting and keeps me reading

Izzy just got home from the hospital, and i just stopped at the part where she goes back to school. I really like this book so far, its really been interesting and kept me reading. The way people acted when she went back to school was weird, and it almost made me feel bad because its hard enough to fight through cancer, let alone other students and homework.

so far the book is good, I'm currently at the part where Izzy arrives at the children's hospital, after her doctor called worrying about her having Lymphoma. Her mom has been panicking, which is something you would expect when finding out your daughter has cancer
