So far:
- this book is about democracy in the USA. it only discusses democracies through the lens of the US’ system
- bc it’s so US-centered, there are hints of colonialism in the analysis. I’m still only 40% done, but it fails to see some crucial aspects, such as american influence in foreign democracies
- despite this, it’s informative so far!
