Status Updates From Liberation: Being the Adven...

This book is trying too hard...and I don't remember Slattery's style being quite this precocious.

Slattery's prose is decent but unfortunately stretched a bit thin under his narrative voice...it just refuses to cohere and tell a story for more than a space before inhaling and speed balling onto the next section of vivid, though at times trying too hard, language. And enough with the listing of musicians, songs, and geographical locations...we get it Brian you like music and out of the way places.

I think I'm going to have to stop here because this book sucks

The ending seemed rushed. I thought I'd like this as a post apocalyptic fan, but not so much.
