Damn, Sanguinius is the man!

I'm definitely enjoying this and I adore Annandale for doing their thing and taking such big, weird swings. I think I just need to return to this a second time in the future when I'm less depressed and distracted. I feel like this is one I will really fall in love with on a second read when it can wash over me. I can't wait to see how it ends though!

Nice.

It wasn’t a masterpiece by any means but it was a quick read and a fun one too. Sanguinius is probably one of the few primarchs with true depth and its good to have him at the forefront again. It was also a nice touch seeing the birth of the Sanguinor, and the fate of the Blood Angels with the Black Rage. Overall, a good read.

I’m a great lover of Sanguinius and his perspective so this book has been a joy so far. The Lion is intriguing enough as well and Guilliman, well, he’s inoffensive. The path to Terra is not easy and the nexus point seems to be Davin, where it all began. How poetic.

Its quite good so far, I’m enjoying it. Rather fast paced, though it is juggling a few separate storylines at this point

Lion El Johnson is still a very dislikable character.

Went into this feeling it would be a necessary chore but wow - there's actually a tangible plot without needless viewpoints. Things really starting to get interesting.

Need a break from Warhammer!

Sort of 3 separate but intertwined tales of some major heroes. So far so good

Not sure I care for the story, but the action is good. Too many shifting focuses between the three Legions though.

The wounds of Signus Prime were still fresh. He would heal them with this assault. The Blood Angels would hit the daemons with maximum force. There would be anger, but no loss of control. Not this time. There would be atonement through disciplined fury. There could be a precision and a majesty in wrath.
This was the lesson he and his sons would bring to the abominations.

He was a colossus in black. His sarcophagus bore the same grim colours as the armour of the Destroyers. The blue of the XIII Legion was a splash on the pauldron, a vertical streak down the helm, a mark of honour and allegiance in the midst of the black. The Destroyers were the company of war at its most brutal, the Ultramarines of last resort, and their colours spoke of their grim purpose.

The struggles of the triumvirate, with them having troubles along the way, trying to get past the ruinstorm. Interesting to see their personalities clash,

Good plot, with a great story arc that manages to convey details without giving away the end.

Strongly recommend it if you want more insight into the Primarchs minds.

The story of this is more personal rather than over focusing everything on the Emperium's future not like The Master of Mankind.

This is possibly the most dramatic Horus Heresy book I ever read.

The main element of this novel is all about Doubt. especially from our angels POV. Irony that they captured Konrad Curz, a person who have been plague by doubt all his live because he was born to premonitions talent.

Guilliman: OK Were in Davin now. You guys wanna land there?
Lion: You know what happen the last time we land on a trippy hell planet.
Guilliman: They what's your gran plan smart ass.
Lion: Blow the Shit UP! that's what smart people do.
Sang: No No We just came here..
Lion: AND WHAT. Land there so we get rape by testicle monsters again.

The Blood Angels Black Rage symptoms starts with their Primarch?

Who would win:

A primarch. A super demigod angel made by science & biomancy that lead a legion of super soldiers throughout the galaxy.

A horny guy with a staff and book.

So the warp can also produce solid matter for chaos construction in the material world. I thought they just magically copy anything in the warp and teleport it in the living world. THE MORE U KNOW
