is this still the case since we have evolved “morality”…(pg.27)? allopatric vs. sympatric speciation (pg.29). necks for sex theory— evolution isn’t always about food (pg.31). if only Darwin and Mendel met… | natural selection for positive and negative (pg.45) the church challenging scientific progress and theory?… unheard of (pg.46-47). i would love to hear Darwin’s thoughts on the modern synthesis.

Did Lamarck describe a pseudo-epigenetics (pg.4)? Ah… the good old HMS Beagle. Forgo the religion, not the faith (pg.6). Descent with modification (pg.12)!! “the inevitable result of the natural sequence of events” (pg.18).

I like how the contributors brought us around the founders, what happened during the findings, what struggles and roadblocks they faced. It’s like a quick summary of their journals, mixed in a writing style that is engaging and in a captivating way. Enjoyed it a lot so far!
