I don't know why I'm so determined to finish this because JFC this book will NEVER be over. The amount of extraneous description is ridiculous. I started skimming around 65% but I should have started sooner. I don't even care about the mystery because every time things got interesting it would devolve back into paragraphs of descriptions about anything and everything. It's too bad, it could be a fun read.
