Learned how to make coconut milk rice. Yum. Also learned how to fry plantains. Delicious. I have chosen the easiest to cook so far.

y’all. this books slaps. i haven’t tried any recipes yet, but whew the pictures alone are a feast for the eyes...and the soul ;)

i’ve literally never encountered any text/cooking show that spends this much time talking about any kind of african cuisine. not saying people aren’t doing it right now—they are (pierre thiam, etc.)! but i need to know their namesss & their booksss & tv showsss.
