Status Updates From What the Cat Dragged In (Sa...

Just starting, since I'm up at midnight w/a fever of 101, trying to expel my lungs through my nose, apparently. Made a hot apple-cinnamon tea with honey and a dash of Fireball cinnamon whiskey (shudders). Plan to curl up with the book and the tea (and the four felines who are trying to "care" for their cat-mommy. Heaven forbid the hand that doles out the food and treats might be out of action for a day or two).

Giddy fun, silliness, sweet tenderness, and satisfying mayhem. I'm really loving this!

I *like* these guys! Connor and Brock make a great team. Also, the cover pics aren't even close to how the characters are described >.<

The writing on this is a hoot. A little hard to follow sometimes, but that kind of matches how Connor thinks. Also yeah, there's insta-love, but this is the best description I've seen - two people who fit each other so well there's not even any question that they belong together.

What a fun book to read!! Action and heart-in-your-throat moments, but also mates and love and romance and sexy times and laughter. Great follow-up to the first in this series.

This is a lot lighter than the first book, at least so far. I can't help but feel that all this easy banter and family happy times are building up to some massive fuckery, though... Loving this so far.
