I foolishly purchased complete box set of this audible version. It was just one credit, and I thought it was a good deal. I’m having a difficult time getting through the first book. 😬 I’m not sure if it’s because the narrator really sucks or if the story itself is just subpar

DNF...I may read the actual book instead of listening. The narrator did not make me happy

CHAPTER 7 So far I honestly don't like the narrator nor the narration style. The writing feels disjointed at times or even illogical. For mid twentys characters they feel childish especially Ben, he acts more like a brooding teen than a grieving father. The overall lack of comunicantion between the institution and the people is plain ridiculous if we are talking about it lasting over centuries.
