Lol the one time Savannah is trying to defend herself instead of just being a horrible brat, she finally gets the "this is unacceptable" treatment. 😂 It's so realistic it hurts.

... Cole's mom irks me with her selfish assumptions. Come on, lady, that's putting way too much on your kid. Get a nearby apartment or something.

Ouch. I get the lie that nobody was dying was in character, but I was therefore not braced for the <spoiler>"mom has cancer"</spoiler> bit. 😢

This is in every romance and erotica ever - no matter the sexualities or genders - so I don't fault the book. And maybe I'm just weird, here. But to me? Tongue wars while kissing, slipping tongues against each other, all this 'tangling' of tongues together sounds so completely gross. And it's funny, considering all the places I don't mind characters' tongues going. But man, it just seems icky...

I'm so glad I replaced that one terrible book with this one.

I want to understand that Savannah is a traumatized kid with mood issues caused by abandonment. But honestly? I cannot stand her.

Patrick might be good for Cole, but Cole was uncomfortably aware Patrick deserved someone who didn’t forget his existence the minute a man they hadn’t seen in seventeen years walked into the picture.

Yes. Yes, he does deserve better. I'm just glad this is more "making lust eyes at a former flame" and not cheating. Yet. Please don't become cheating.

How did people raise multiple of these demons? Better yet, how did Cole watch thirty of them five days a week? He had to be insane.

I feel like Savannah is supposed to be cute. But all I keep thinking is "this brat needs to be grounded for a month" oops.
