Status Updates From Falling for the Beast

An abundance of clichés!

The writing style isn't bad, and the editing is well done. BUT the plot is just too basic, like a mediocre Mills & Boon. A lot more could've been done with this premise of the Beast as Healer, etc. Instead, we get a rushed/stilted "romance" between one-dimensional caricatures, and a very stereotypical "villain" thrown in to move the plot along.

This is a retelling of the Disney's version of B&B. You have young, beautiful and compassionate Bell, scarred and reclusive Thaddeus and the macho jerk Gavin. There was almost an instant attraction between Bell and Thaddeus, which didn't seem too realistic especially considering his rude treatment of her at the beginning. But if you look at it as a modern day fairy tale, then you won't expect too much logic.
