Status Updates From Servir Froid

And this book did not need to be 664 pages. So much unnecessary explanation for the atmosphere/places/people etc.
You can honestly just read the first few chapters and the last few and you get the entire plot without the details.
Now, I'm not saying this book was bad, it just wasn't for me. Joe Abercrombie is still a great writer, but my tastes can be so shifty and this time unfortunately the book wasn't to my taste.

Well, this was... something. Idk but I couldn't get into this story no matter how hard I tried. I was mostly bored. None of there characters were interesting enough to carry this book. Compared to the first trilogy, this seemed all over the place. It's not fun to read a story where the characters can't wait to constantly betray each other and have no other qualities besides being duplicitous a-holes (except Friendly)

The only friendship made in this book was between Cosca and Friendly, and their interactions were my favorite

So in the end Orso didn't even betray her technically, her own brother caused all of this

Whoa, another twist I didn't see coming 😲

It's funny that this ragtag team who were formed in the beginning are now all fighting and trying to kill each other
