Status Updates From How to Take Smart Notes

Latticework of permanent notes connected in some ways is basis of slip box that helps generate connected sentences as a draft to a full paper later

The three kinds of notes to save my work life
1. Temporary notes taken during the day
2. Project specific notes for the project
3. Long term permanent notes for general things at work eg. always get clarity on current spend, contract terms, autorenewal etc

I think what’s contributing most to my anxiety around work tasks is the fact that I think I have to do everything now.

As opposed to noting it all in one place in a GTD manner

Because I’m currently learning new things on my procurement job such as remembering to think about contract termination clauses, length, etc

The framework of organizing the notes you collect in your mind bank in a systematic way is useful


Stretching brain definitely hurts and makes me want to quit until I go take a walk and then hear things like this book! Thank god for libraries!!
