It is funny that I felt a stab of awkwardness when I sensed how much what the author described as “planner” and “poor students” resemble me. He really knows me. Anyway, I do not expect that I will become an “expert” after reading this book. I just want that I can become better at note-taking. And the slip-box mechanism does give me a brand new useful insight into writing.

Wowww, seems Niklas Luhmann cracked the system to organize abstract ideas. I need to implement this system right away!

Picking this book to learn how to write better and to obviously take better notes. Intrigued by Luhmann's slip-box method. Key takeaway so far is: having the right mindset, the right workflow, the right tools (and how to use them).

In the beginning, Ahrens informs us about the slip box and Luhmann. This is the most detailed analysis of the system in the book.
