The further in this book I go the more it feels like a biography about Henry Fonda that just features anecdotes about Jimmy Stewart. I'm too far in to shelve it now but it's getting to be a bit of a slog.

I’m a little miffed they glossed over the HUAC stuff and their big fight. It was barely mentioned, and he claims the exact cause was unknown which is not true. I suppose it’s fair to say that political differences were enough but what about Jim’s involvement with Hoover or the way actors were affected by the Blacklisting? A lot of broad strokes being painted here.
