The characters are not as exciting as they were in the beginning. Also, there are some parts that I find boring, while other parts are intriguing.

I do not understand why a character would compare their love for someone as morphine. Lisa stated that "He was my morphine." I think it is a wrong statement to use to describe what you feel.

The beginning was really interesting and I hope it continues to get better. I think the characters are fine so far, and I wonder what will happen next.

Um, where did that come from? Not sure why Lisa would have left the house in the middle of the night...perhaps Nate has got the wrong end of the stick, unless we're getting a very different book to the one we expected.

The endless 'my love' is grating. Very over-the-top and I'm not even that bothered what his big secret is...

He was my morphine...oh dear, Lisa has it bad for the mysterious Nathan. Think her accident has been the most exciting thing.

Different setting and characters, but the obsession with the classmate who seems to hate her...tired.

Opening chapter is rich in description. Sounds as if we're straight into myths/folklore.
