Thank GOD that chapter on IDM is over. Fully realising that when it comes to music writing I don’t give a single shit to describing the actual music - if I wanted to know I could just listen to it (although maybe all that shows is I’m just a child of Spotify?). But seriously, I’m only here for the cultural analysis. Long live ‘ardkore!

Didn’t expect Altern-8 // Slade comparison but sure. I OBJECT however to a prodigy // Sweet or T. Rex one though. Simply on the grounds that you cannot even compare Sweet and T. rex? These are two very different strands of the glam rock gene?
