Great piece to read alongside academic ABA and psycho-social model material. Feels like practical psychology with a theological dusting.

Interesting survey of some key voices in practical theology. Unfortunately, it reveals how permeated with hedonistic and secular anthropologies the field of practical theology actually is. Somehow, many practical “theologians” have managed to make the study of God and His action in the world all about 2nd Wave feminism, radical gender theory, liberal equity, and creature-centered as opposed to Creator-centered.

Some good perspectives so far. Easy to read and encouraging for anyone who wants to practice theology in every day life. Places a high regard on tradition and worship. I believe practical theology is an important critical lens for understanding tradition and injustice. So far, Ward has not supported this kind of suspicion. I’ll see.
