My book Crossover fits with the tile because my main character is kind of in a "crossover" between the school play and his basketball since he is doing it at the same time.

I just started this book so i'm just going to do the last book I read which was Jacks Run. I think the most unlikable character is Alonzo because he's the bad guy and he's really mean and bossy.

Rud, a sportswriter, nails the sports scenes, but some of the other wording made me cringe, such as, “And although we didn’t talk any more about it, I somehow felt that most of us had grown up a little bit.” I found the students’ homophobia far-fetched. He is surprised to discover that he is a pretty good performer, and what is more that he really enjoys it. However, his teammates and coach do not appreciate his new role. When the theatre scenery and Lukas’ locker are vandalized, readers will be sure who did it long before Kyle is.

Kyle Evans, a basketball player, enters his junior year of high school resigned to the fact that the varsity coach will be funneling most of the plays through Ben Stillman. A star among the theatre kids, Lukas behaves outside the male norm, and people wonder whether he is gay.

Fifteen-year-old Kyle Evans has been a jock for years-a triple threat basketball player who can dribble, pass or shoot with considerable skill. But once he decides to try out for the school musical production at Sainsbury High, Kyle finds there is m
