I just realized that I had not written updates for this book. This story is better, for it includes more flying and, now that Monkey and Tommy are married more is happening. Monkey is now expecting and this will heal her family as she recently lost her brother to war injuries. Tommy is making a real impact on the development of the RFC use of planes in the war. More engaging overall.

I'm glad they don't get too long-winded with the technical talk about planes, but glad there's enough to understand the machines of the day. As usual, Wareham is schooling us in the sociology of the periods he examines.
