I quite like the take on 'wers' in this book (though that spelling is odd to my eyes) the idea of them being a different race/ethnicity, and the ability to shift being entirely hereditary is a take that we don't really see anymore in urban fantasy. That said, I remembered who the killer is as soon as they were introduced. And another negative Celucci is a realy dick when it comes to Victory's right to choose...
