Introduction starts off with incredible and insulting generalisms about why humans "need" faith/religion. There's a hint that the author favours intwining political policy with religion suggesting North America's separation of church and state is unnatural and incomprehensible to non-Westerners.

i have no idea what page i am on now. i returned the library book and switched to finishing it slowly over time on my kindle. the epub vs physical page numbers are not the same and if i go off of % it includes the hundred or so pages of footnotes and citations lol you know how books are. i have like two chapters left i am just focusing on other things rn

i want to be done with this so bad. u know when uve been slacking on the reading and have been reading the same thing for too long
