Status Updates From Stay with Me

So this is going to be a DNF. I started listening to it on Audible during work and this book is TOO GOOD to be background noise. I need to immerse myself in it. So I'm going to pick up a copy and circle back.

There were definitely moments I enjoyed, but the execution started to wear on me. At times, the narration made it hard to tell whose POV was speaking, which pulled me out of the story more than once. I’m currently around 83% and while the story isn’t bad, I’m ready for it to wrap up. With clearer POV transitions and tighter pacing, this could’ve been a stronger listen overall. Decent, but a bit longer than it needed

I’m officially over unnecessary fillers. I don’t know if there’s a secret page-count quota authors are trying to meet, but it’s not needed. A solid story doesn’t need fluff—just tell the story and keep it moving. The plot was plotting just fine without the extra nonsense. Whoever suggested fillers lied, and as a reader, I’m tired 😩
