Always takes me a sec to get adjusted to these older horror novels, but I know Ketchum is one of the greats

An incredibly strong opening, it has aged pretty poorly and could be seen as pretty problematic, but if you see it as an old paperback horror book, it still kicks a lot of ass and has a ton of shock value.
