Status Updates From Quirky Quarks: Mit Cartoons...

Now I've lost the older one as well. We're now into the depths of quantum particles and it is simply getting too difficult for layfolk to understand. I will read the rest for myself.

But at least Aaron could use some of the earlier material of the book when he explained the structure of atoms via the Rutherford experiment. Yeah!

Quantum mechanics is so weird! Aaron and myself constantly walk on the borderline of understanding. Philip only hopes that it will be over soon ^^'.

But I realised that Sanderson apparently created some of Roshar's physics on the principles of quantum mechanics. I have to go looking for information on that.

^^' I've lost my younger son at quantum mechanics. But the older one is still with me.

Sometimes a bit too much for the boys, but overall a good recap of astrophysics so far.
:) and it definitely has a Monday editing. So many funny typos in there. My favourite so far was a listing of the inner planets going "Markus, Venus, Erde, Mars". XD

Our next breakfast read-aloud will be physics alternating with German ballads (the book for the second one is an old childhood companion of mine and not on Goodreads)
