The midsummer event is coming and all the queens will be together. I have literally no clue what will happen between them. The plot of this book series really is so fascinating.

So much drama in this book. I can already see that Arsinoe and Mirabella are going to join forces somehow at some point in this book. That way they can take Katharine down together. I’m loving how each one is hiding who they really are so they come across as a strong vicious queen. It’s so interesting.

I gave this book a chance even though I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one. After all, sometimes good premises get better in book 2.
But I'm not happy with what I'm reading. This book is going in a direction that isn't what I expected—and not in a good way.
I'll finish it because I'm still having fun and I want to see where it goes, but I don't see myself continuing the series.
