Status Updates From The Tin-Kin

finally got to some drama.....

I feel as this is not a big book, I would have finished and set about something new. but the lack of speech marks and clear definition of each individual character as it's very difficult to grasp a word of meaning of many sentences due to the writing, it's no longer a gimmick of interest. it's making, for the most part, this book rather unbearable.

slow going, squashed the requests of literary ease to give up and persevere with the scottish dialect it's told in

grandmother's laugh - ugh
language is difficult

This is a book group choice and I am having trouble not falling asleep when I am trying to get into this. Will persevere but not convinced yet.
