This second reading of this book is making me love it even more. If I finally retake my PhD again I will most definitely do my creative research on this topic

While reading this book, I'm thinking about the possibility that all the Verspätungen problems with Deutsche Bahn are caused by a failure in the Matrix
Is it related to the content? Maybe if we consider the fact that we live in a simulation

I loved this book so much when I read it last semester that I had the urge to buy it and reread it again. It's just absolute peak

absolutely chilling how spot-on Murray is regarding what she calls the "mechanical thinking" that can arise from algorithm-based narratives that she imagines might one day be created by machines. modern AI is scarily well past algorithm based predictive text, which makes her warning all the more terrifying, especially considering this was written in 1997
