This is utterly delightful. I'm so nervous and excited for all the pieces to finally come together.

I’m actually have slowed down reading this book. Like I said I’m losing interest.

It's now one of the alternate endings of the book, and Jane is starting to piece together the mystery of the missing Brancusi. (S)

17% done and this book needs to pick up the pace! I feel like I'm stuck back in Caraval with Scarlett. Jane is starting to get on my nerves. I'm not sure if the character is meant to be so stupid that she must keep repeating things or if the author just *really* wanted to make sure the audience knows what's going on. Janie has about 50 pages to start getting interesting or she's getting chucked in the DNF pile!

I’m not sure if I’m loving this book anymore. But I am interested in knowing if Jane loves Ivy???? ❤️❤️❤️ 😁

I did know this book was going to be told from difference sides of the same event. It’s interesting I guess.

That looks a lot like someone kissing someone without their consent. Oh wait, is it because it is?

This has only gotten weirder and I'm still not sure I am enjoying it. The third portion of the book was especially odd. Pros so far though have included mentions of Beatles songs and a lady kiss.

At this point I'm honestly not sure how I feel. At first I thought it was boring. Then I thought it was just weird. Once I decided I DID sort of like it, it got weird again and not necessarily in a good way. I'm listening to the audio, and I thought it had glitched/jumped backward, but it turns out that it's a multi-verse thing and I'm getting the same story again but slightly altered. Not a fan of this gimmick.

Interesting. The mystery has caught my attention.

The multiple storylines are wild. Love the choose your own adventure feel to the story though.

Holy fucking shit. I’m not even sure how to fully process this.

I am so confused. What the heck is happening? Why is this repeating things and changing it? Did I miss something?

Jane wants to find out what happened with the Panzavecchias and Patrick, but she doesn't want to intrude on these people's lives. (S)

this book is gonna smack you in the face at the very end answering the question that's throughout the book and I'm gonna slap myself for it being in my face the entire time but not seeing it, I'm calling it

I feel like I need more details about this whole spy plotline. Also, Kiran is being remarkably calm about suddenly finding out that someone she’s known since childhood is involved in some secret plots. And how did she know that the Interpol guy wouldn’t want to see the oubliette? What if he had? Questions.

there's something very charming about the writing style

This is fucking fantastic. The characters and the mysteries and the strangeness, I love it. And the casual queerness! Jane appears to like boys and girls. Ravi just thinks everyone is hot. That is great!

Still bizarre but I see where this is going now. It's intriguing, I'm nowhere near liking it in terms of character or plot or setting, but it's inherently appealing and very easy to read.

Ooh, I am intrigued. Already love our
protagonist. She makes umbrellas! How neat! I see some chemistry between her and Ivy; I’m hoping that will be a thing. I’d like to learn more about Kiran, as well. I feel like she has a lot beneath the exterior.

This is the strangest, non-sequitur story. The dog is SO annoying. Jane is weird and not in a likable way. But I'll continue, because it's intriguing in its own fashion.

Frankly, this is some of the best dog characterization I’ve ever read.
