The synopsis is very misleading. I expected a quirky magical realism novel and got an art theft mystery?

What have I read? I am still confused hahahha

I'm listening to this on Audible and I started it without knowing anything about it. This book is a hot confusing awful mess when approached this way. I stopped listening because there is no indication on the recording that there are different sections so my experience of the book is that it's repetitive and utterly chaotic. I may try the hard copy but I give up on the Audible recording. It's making me hate this book

Overdue and on hold by someone else. There are arguments for simply buying a book...

The fourth story was overwhelming in a different but much more pleasant way. I hope this book ends well. I feel like I need a cigarette after this. It's too bad I don't smoke. Maybe another version of me does. Oh, Lord, now I've started doing it...

I've been reduced to incoherent screaming as I contemplate how much has gone right over my head during the course of reading the previous three stories. Mostly everything to do with frogs. Pay attention to the frogs, Future Readers.

I hated every single bit of that third choice story and I am so glad it is over. God, what an uncomfortable experience that was. Props to Kristin for being able to write like this, but also, holy shit my dude what is wrong with you.

What is happening good lord this was my respite while I try to boil eggs for the first time ever and now I'm twice as confused. I like doorways in bowling lanes and gigantic fish tanks about as much as these eggs right now.

Oh my god. Is this going to be, like, 4 different stories with four different endings? I love it, but also, WHAT WAS IVY GOING TO TELL JANE? I MUST KNOW.

I cannot read Colin's name without picturing Colin Hanks. I don't know why. Maybe it's his pleasant yet vague demeanor? It needs more thought.

This is such an addictive book.
