I have the feeling we'll be going to the library today, and I intended to read this once more before returning it, so here goes. A farewell read of Bright Snow, White Snow without having to think about reshaping my review based on it.

Let's see if I can squeeze in one more read of this and the final draft of my review right now. Bright Snow, White Snow is the most acclaimed book by the author/illustrator team of Alvin Tresselt and Roger Duvoisin. Winning the Caldecott Medal is never not a huge deal.

Worth noting is that the calendar in the policeman's home shows this story to happen in March, despite the heavy blizzard.

Let's see if I can read this once more today and create the first draft of my review. It's an appealing picture book, I just haven't found the time and alertness.

Let's have a second go at this one. I'm still in the process of forming my opinion, but Roger Duvoisin's artwork in these pages sure is distinctive.
