Odeio essa sensação de que o autor está usando demais o poder da pena, essa sensação de que mesmo fazendo escolhas erradas, ele insiste no tema e tem que usar "truquezinhos" de escrita pra manter a história fluindo.
Tá difícil suportar algumas "coincidências" desse história...

Olha que ficou interessante essa bagunça, e espero muito que o que eu estou achando que vai acontecer não aconteça, pq se acontecer esse meu exemplar vai virar lenha... (¬.¬)

E o autor desse livro já deve ter dado duas voltas na linha das "coincidências", tá demais, cada escorregada vai uma estrela embora, só faltam 4 das 5... (-_-)

Começando esse sem pretensões de termina-lo esse ano, ler devagarzinho, na espera do lançamento do terceiro título em Pt-BR. :D

Finding the second book hard going...

Getting through this really quickly, just love the narration of the audiobook and the story is so engaging, although it will be annoying waiting for my next audible credit to get the third book after this.

The start threw me for quite a bit. It's one year later and it's a heartbreaking opening. But I'm wrapped up in the story again and on we go!

Side note: I love reading medieval history but crikey the 'medicinal treatments' of the time are horrifying and infuriating. More warmed urine anyone?
