Okay so this is a STRETCH goal. To my knowledge, there are no English translations of this work. Luckily, for some reason, this book (and all the sabatini books) were popular in Russia, so there are many russian translations... I can read russian, but at about a 5th or 6th grade level... so this is a challenge book that I'll read along with my regular books.

I like the ph the book from which I'm reading. I've anoth book in my collection called Captain Blood & there author portraits pirates like good people. Here we focus on another pirate, H. Morgan (real historical character) & whole picture about pirates' ill minds comes out & they're not seen better than "cruel Spaniards" anymore. What war does to people, what possibilities for marauding it opens up is appalling...
