Status Updates From Hostage to Death

The first half of this story had me gripped & enthralled. Brilliant and original plot & some mixed characters seemed to be developing. Then the wheels came off & what should have been the perfect story for a blockbuster ground to a lacklustre end. It wasn't that the plot wasn't developed & planned but then easy solutions by the police & characters never delivered original promise. Still a good read. Thanks netgalley.
