Status Updates From Understanding Show, Don't T...

I wish there was more information on how to "tell" properly. There were 3 sections on when it's okay to "tell," but hardly any examples in them. The "Telling to Convey Necessary Information" just instructs us to weave the tells in seamlessly. This would have been a good time to follow the "show, don't tell" rule and actually show us what good telling entails.

Ahh, this is the "Show, Don't Tell" manual I really needed when I was still starting my draft!! I'm just beginning this book, and I've already improved several passages in my current draft.

Just a great book every writer should read until they have got down the fundamentals of showing more, and telling less!
