To put things another way from my last update, it’s like those drawing books that go from a blob to a dog-looking shape to a completely finished dog. Maybe those problems will be tackled in later sections, and again, the book is very detailed and good. Something is still off about it for me.

It’s a very good book, but I’m not sure if it should be read through like a regular book or read in small bits. It also explains similar concepts under different headings so I don’t quite know what precisely is going on in some cases. Maybe if multiple examples were in the same place, we could see what’s happening.

Quick to read and easy to understand, this book gives practical tools to solve the challenge of showing and not just telling in you friction writing.
