Status Updates From The Castle of Otranto

I love Matilda, she's so full of heart and sympathy. A real princess!!

There's a great part in the middle of this book where the tyrannical Prince of Otranto, Manfred, rants for 3-4 pages to a group of visiting knights on business from another lord, and knights stay silent and sigh and wait around until they can't take it anymore; that's to say, there's a great part in the middle of this book where I begun to think that many readers have taken Walpole's famed novel too seriously!;-)
