Status Updates From The Burning Ground

[Reading Advance Uncorrected Proofs, which I received through Goodreads giveaway]. Hadn't been loving the stories until "Wave-Riding Giants." While I feel O'Riordan's writing style is catchy and descriptive (though perhaps at times too much of the latter), the subject matter didn't grab me. "Wave-Riding Giants" changed that. I hope that trend continues through the rest of the book.
