I just finished the first book in the Dragon Apocalypse called "Greatshadow" and it was great! The characters, storytelling, and worldbuilding was all fun and well done.
I have only one gripe with the book and that's the books breakneck speed and constantly adding of new elements made it very tiresome.
Then again: The first book in a fantasy series is almost always set-up. Hopefully, future books will be better.
