Status Updates From New Mutants Classic Vol. 5

If Thor in the shape of a frog came to me and spoke words of encouragement that would cure my depression too. The emotional depth in this set was astounding. I genuinely felt moved- especially by issue #40. The way Magneto fought to get “his” kids back but also trying not ro hurt the Avengers was incredible!! 9/10

I was almost done reading this collection when I decided to take a detour and read Secret War 1 and 2. *SPOILERS* The kids were literally killed by the Beyonder and then suddenly back. Apparently, it was covered in Secret War 2 but I couldn’t read that without read 1 so here I am.
