Status Updates From Captive (Beautiful Monsters...

Very conflicted about this book for a few reasons so far.

1. Although I like Matthew, I feel I don't have full depth into his character. A lot of surface level thoughts and feelings, but nothing much deeper.

2. Now knowing the series is unfinished and that the 3rd book is much darker than this one, I'm not sure if it's worth reading all 3 and putting myself through the emotional wringer without resolution.

Sigh...

I wish there was a little more detail about the compulsions and battles of wills...could make for some interesting fights.

2nd read and for now I love it just like the first time.

Wow, poor Matthew.

I found out that the series is unfinished and therefore I see no reason to continue. I don’t want the characters to grow on me because I currently have no way of finding out how it all ends. Another book should have been released in 2018 and it’s 2025 and still nothing so maybe one day….
