The writing style is so unique and quirky and reminds me of how fun and interesting life used to be when I was a child. The little notes in brackets; (this was before Europe existed) and (this was after stew was invented, as everything is) make me smile every time. I can feel my dad in these pages, somewhere not too far away, this was his favourite Fairy Tale after all
