There are some internal transphobic digs from the Derrick charter that make my stomach flip in a bad way. Like I feel as though it's an intentional thing bc this character is supposed to be a mostly closeted lumberjack who was made fun of for doing "feminine" chores as a child and I'm assuming it's going to change to show his growth but as a nonbinary person, it gives me the creeps.

It's okay so far. I like the premise and the characters feel real. This one I can definitely tell was written by women, which I knew beforehand but still. There's just something about it that tips it off, but I'm not sure what it is. Obviously not a bad thing, but definitely something worth putting on the table with a romance between two men
